bought a 94 cx with the optional center console that connects the factory center console to the dash, and its missing the coin pocket/ashtray that goes next to the cig lighter. I cannot track down a part number, and found out it cannot be ordered separately from the whole console piece.

Is there any interchangeability? I read somewhere that 88-91 prelude rear audio console ashtrays fit, but have yet to track one down or confirm it fits.

Anyone else have this issue, or any input on what else may fit? thanks

88-91 Prelude rear ashtray. Same part number. Fairly easy find. Get it in black or get out some spray paint. I have one too for you if interested.

Rear ashtray from the prelude fits, but its not angled or anything.

^ Good point - OP is your lower console a JDM unit or USDM? USDM has a rectangular ash tray (for which the Prelude one will fit), JDM unit is angled, almost like a triangle (trapezoidal?).
