Default Eg foglight retrofit

Finally showing off my lexus es300/is300 fog light retrofit that I did on my eg. This retrofit is extremely easy was the mounting tabs on the projector line up exactly with the mounting spots on the eg fog light bracket. There is this diy: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/%5Bfaq%7D-diy-lexus-is300-es300-fog-lights-retrofitted-into-eg-2746135/ but I used the complete lexus projector instead of a hybrid of the two. Let me know what you think. I have extra sets of fog light projectors for sale if you are interested http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=3179641

I will be making a diy when I have time too, but it's pretty straight forward.

Now on with the pics

Thanks guys. Probably one of the best mods I've done to the eg. It's a subtle mod that most don't pay attention too. They just think its regular fogs.

Looks good.

I was wondering what was on the EG (rough EH really) that someone at work drives.

Are you taking about the fogs or or the wheels?

The fogs are stock eg fogs. I think the wheels are oz racing or there is a rota version but I don't render the exact models of them.

Those fogs look just like yours. Not really worried about the wheels. I was thinking they were BMWs that I understand some like to take off old 3 series.

They do look the same but totally different. Those are totally stock eg fogs. Mine use the eg foglight cover but the actual light itself is different. I took projector foglights from a Lexus is300 and replaced the stock eg ones. The light output from the Lexus ones are a lot better. The eBay fogs i had were more of an appearance mod that had no practical use because they didn't light up the road at all.

And with the wheels, you are talking about BMW bottlecaps. Which are also different from the wheels you posted.

No problem, the fogs do get overlooked because they do look oem, which was the purpose. But they perform so much better. I got my eg a year ago and slowly started learning more and more about Hondas and molding them.

They so come yellow from the factory and it was like these Lexus projectors were made for eg fog lights. They bolt right up to the bracket.

Can you measure the diameter of the bulb and the mounting plate? I might consider this on another car.

Can you elaborate a little more of which measurements you need? Diameter of the bulb? It uses a h3 bulb. The mounting plate? The mounting plate of the projector or the back of the projector where the bulb goes?

Going to the Junk yard today to see if the IS still has its fogs in it. Hope it does!

Oops i meant:
Diameter of the projector lens*
Length/Width of the mounting plate that mounts the projector onto the bumper.
And if you can, the depth of the whole assembly (from front of lens to the back where bulb is inserted)

Sorry! But thanks in advance!
