id say the answer is self explanitory lol the Ej6 is newer . more mods.. but its all preferences I love the 6th gen body style. The Eg is lighter it all depends on what you want do do with it.. but the EJ6 seems to be the one I would pick (ej6 is the 96-00 civic DX chassie code)

ac is easy to charge
damn 2700 bucks id go for the EJ6 (EK ) that is MUCH more bang for your buck

no rust on either

hatch has no dents except on the hood and trunk and both are going to be switched to CF and 1 on the fender which should easily be popped out in the future the car runs really nice and stiff no viberations or jiggles its white but VERY sun faded. everything works

the 96 has a baseball sized dent on the body and about a golf ball sized one on the part right above the door the front hasn't been painted so its mat black the car squeaks because of the brakes and seems to need an alignment as well (steers to the left). there is also no AC the owner says it needs to be recharged and there is no stereo.

the 96 body style seems better looking but the 95 isn't bad either other than that both cars seem like they are running strong

I absolutely love my all sixth gens but I would strongly suggest the fifth gen 95 because it is less molested and I'm one who likes a fresh start. Give us some pics. How are the bodies of each?
