EG & DC low cost ( relatively ) triangulated strut bar option

I pick up a Edlebrock strut bar for the GSR today. They only have a listing for GSR. So I assumed an EG would be relatively easy fitment ( I have a Del Slo BTW )

The only fitment issue was the need to move some wires on the driver side strut area and to move the fuel filter slightly over

The benefit is this mounts to the a arm's so you can run a seperate bar if you want it also has 4 extra holes to mount throught preexisting holes ( no extra bolts included ) It also comes with 2 bolts that screw into esiting holes in the firewall

It's super beefy and looks good in black all powder coated

it's not all the way in because I'm swapping out the IM and IM gasket and TB also and putting in a lawnmower size battery

Street price should be 140 or less depending

so it's alittle dark

sorry the holes got washed out by the flash but they are all there

YES IT IS AN SIR AIRBOX FOR ANY ONE WHO WAS ABOUT TO SAY IT, YES WITHOUT A B SERIES TB IT IS LOOSE

There's some on Ebay rite now for $121 buy it now. 10 @ that price available. Don't worry about the title lisitng saying for Camaro. It is the same bar, if you read further down in the auction page.

Re: (fake mugen power)

That looks real nice, what are the advantages of having a 3pt strut bar then compared to a 2pt like skunk 2?

Re: (92CivicSiR2)

just an extra brace a lttle more torsional regidity + it's fully tubular so there is'nt going to be twisitng like the junk2 bar

the bar itself is over 1in thick so it's pretty strudy - honestly for most people it's going to be a show mod, it's difficult to feel a difference but since I'm going way beyond stock suspension wise I will notice a mild improvement

I don't think the 96-00 Civic will work since the strut to firewall clearance is different but I don't know ask the carbing guys

since it does'nt mount to the shocks themselves it's irrelevant what kind you have

Tiens with the EDCC boxes may have an issue
