Eg d16 into ek civic
I bought a fully built d16z6, full swap, Computer is hondata, that came from an eg. Its boosted, fully built internals. I swapped my ek dizzy onto the engine, harness from ek with a conversion harness. I have spark, compression (180 psi across the board), fuel (not sure what my pressure is at though, gauge is pooched) timing is set properly. it cranks all day but wont turnover. I forgot to put my crank sensor in. But I found out the ek crank position sensor is behind the timing cover and the eg sensor is in the dizzy. Does it matter for the computer where the sensor is installed? I was thinking of taking the timing cover off, installing the sensor and try to start it. What else could be causing the engine not to turn over?
