EG d15.... why do I blow up so many power steering pumps ????
I have a VX (d15z1) swap in my 1995 LX sedan.
I've tried to use 2 different power steering pumps, and both times they end up smoking (smell of burning PS fluids) and leaking fluids out of the 4 bolt plate.
I bought a new belt & am 98 sure it's the correct tension on the belt.
What can cause PS pumps to go bad?
--- Do i need to bleed the PS system or something?

Honda PS is pretty different from everything else. Even at the auto parts store they sell generic "made for honda" ps fluid. Why is there a difference? It's Honda

Ok guys I'll run to honda and get some PS fluids.
What hose is collapsed? also how can you test to see if it is working or not?
