mazda is RUMORED to be releasing a TT version in a year or so. to compete with the upcomming GTR from nissan.

i drove one, pretty impressive, handles nice i think, not as much power as i expected, but still very nice, ive neer driven a rx-7 to compare though and i only drove the 8 for like 2 miles

i dunno alot of people arent happy with the rx8 looks (4dr...pfft)
the FD was one of the best looking sports cars made EVER. so who knows.

yeah, its like whenever they revive a car, its usually a dissapointment in one way or another, because its so different

sometimes they get it right though... i really dont like the looks of the rx-8 that much, dont think its too fast, but would definately buy one if i had the money.

It's still the most efficient rotary type engine they have engineered, so hey it has some improvement. Let's just wait until the TT version comes out, then we'll see what Mazda came up with. Mazda is performance oriented, just like Nissan and somewhat Toyota, and they know their RX-7's and earlier model RX-3's are legendary cars, so they won't wanna ruin that reputation I would think.

stfu dude he didn't even say honda was better. That stupid rx8 pos needs to lose that stupid backseat and better back end. But the handling is very nice.

It's a NA wankel rated at 227 and the 3rg gen 7's were maybe 30-40 hp's more and that was TT com'mon give it a break. Don't say much for the fd being twinturbo'd and look what they can get outta it now with out it turbo'd yet. Plus better gas mileage for a rotary is always a if you ever owned one.

Ouch, I got nothing on that! It's true I haven't driven it so i'll shut up until I do. Would you really want to drive around a ***** though? Even if it could fly.
