Eg clock
so ive searched over and over and have found nothing....my clock in my eg is dim when i turn the lights on and always resets when i turn the car off and back on...what is the problem and how do i fix it?

take a meter and test the wires behind the clock, one should be constant 12v, the other should be 12v with ignition on, and the other should be ground..

dont lie you know you didnt search! i searched when that happen to me and found out the problem in 2 mins. but since im a nice guy ill tell you what happen, your cars fucked sell it!! lol jk, open ur hood and go to the fuse box. your "backup" fuse (7.5) will be blown, take it out and put another one back in. its that easy

that should do it. I had the very same problem. my radio didn't remember it's stations and settings too.
the clock is supposed to dim. if you don't like it, cut the red/black wire on it's wiring harnass.
