eg climate control

Ok guys, here is my dilemma, my climate control light does not always come on, it does however come one sometimes when you hit a bump. does anyone have any ideas what this could be, and does anyone know how to remove this climate control out of my 94 civic. Thanks.

this a diy link for installing amber lights into ur climate control and cluster, but it goes over how to remove the climate control as well, watch the pics and read a little and you'll get it, its just a few screws, it sounds like a loose plug, start digging

it's very easy if you have the right tools (long philips screwdriver for the 2 hidden screws under climate control). follow the infamous BauleyCivic's DIY guide at https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=661308 exlcuding what you don't want to do.

i took around 2 hours trying to get it out my first time because i didn't have the tool and knowledge. the hardest part is unplugging the climate control and the 2 screws under it. good luck!

*3 bulbs in there..

its really not thayt hard....get some new bulbs thats the problem and before you put it all back together double and triple check that both bulbs light up correctly ...or then you will become a master of doing it like i am and start all over again.....make sure you get the cable right too!!!good luck https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Yes, use that link above to guide through most of the procedure. The hardest part is getting to the green plug in the back of the climate control. There isn't much play in the wires so you have to get under there to find the release button for the plug an then slide the plug out. It may sounds easy but it is hard to see, took me forever to get that damn plug. Once I found the release button it came out easy. The two screws up front are a bit hard to get back in but with some patients it's not bad. I did the amber lights when I installed my Si cluster because I didn't know if the lights inn the cluster worked and my climate control lights didn't work so I figured this would be a nice change. Turned out my light bulbs were the problem and everything works and looks good. From th sounds of it though, it sounds like either the light bulbs themselves are loose or a wire/plug is loose.
