ok so i been trying to figure out why my car wont start i put the motor in and wanted to start it and i got nothing ...
what i checked
fuses all good
their is power going to the distributor
and i already swapped distros with a buddy and my distro started his car fine so my distro is good
heres a video


any help is appreciated

Did you test for spark at the plugs?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Any CEL codes?

yeah i unplugged a spark plug wire and held it out and put a spark plug in it and turned the key but i got no spark ... and my fuel pump doesn't prime and i put a wire in the plug to get the get the codes but got nothing

That's not the correct way to check for spark. Click the spark link in my signature. You need to ground the spark plug to see spark and without grounding it you can also blow the coil.

Did you attach the G101 ground wire to the thermostat housing?

yeah i onced its unplugged i held it to the valvecover bolt and no spark ... the ground is bolted on yeah couse i believe thats a main ground right

Is hood fuse 31 or dash 24 blown? If either is blown, the engine will lack spark and fuel.

the hood fuse is good but the dash fuse i have a question ... wat voltage is fuse 24 10 or 15 and is it the one on the lifted portion of the fusebox

no the fuses are good .. idk if the fact that my car was converted from auto to manual would have any affect on it ? and from the underdash harness theirs a harness unpluged on the upper corner that has seven wires

With the key in ON(III), the starter cranks the engine, right?

Check whether voltage from fuse 31 and 24 reaches the main relay plug. If so, resolder the main relay:

im sorry but which is fuse 31 i dont see in the diagram? and ima check the main relay but ... wat wires carry the power ?

Post a clear picture of the unplugged connector.

ok my main relay is good and none of the fuses r blown i switched the main relay off my coupe and it started the coupe but still the same on hatch so idk

Check whether voltage reaches the main relay and ECU and whether the ECU is grounded.

You might also want to swap in a known good ECU.

are your unknown plugs located on the passenger side under the dash?

well when i used the light to check if their was power to the main relay the gas pump purged ... u mean bolted on? does the engine fusebox have to be ground becouse i got one bolt on it

yeah all i get is the starter like in the video

the green with a yellow line wire on the main relay that is for the main relay when i connected the light to see if there was current to it the light was very dim... does this mean their no a weak power going to the fuel pump ?
