EG+ Civic? EP3 Civic?

Re: EG+ Civic? EP3 Civic? (b(series)cruz)
EG are considered 92-95 Civics
EK are considered 96-00 Civics
The EP3 is the new Civic Si.
Now these codes are supposed to reference the chassis code off the VIN number. However you will find that most Civics have different "E" codes, i.e. my 94 Civic Si is an EH3. It's sometimes just easier to say EG or EK to represent a Civic generation.
