EG A/C wiring?
OK,
So my '94 HB did not come with A/C.
Will the wiring from the climate control for the A/C switch still be there?
If so what color wires (4 of 'em I think) and where should I be looking for them?
http://importnut.net/thehatch/dashwh...sh_swap_05.JPG
I tested all the wires I thought were possible with a testlight and couldn't find one that switched when the A/C button on the climate control was pressed.
Thanks for any help given!

Re: EG A/C wiring?
I'm looking to use the A/C button for a switch for a layer of security.
I just need help in knowing color of wires to tap into.
Has anybody used this A/C button to control something else, ie ignition cut?

Re: EG A/C wiring?
i did the same thing with my eg, didnt come with ac but has it now... The wiring under the dash is all there, there will be a plug that is not hooked up to anything and taped to the wire harness with blue tape. this will plug into the temp sensor on the evaporator that will be installed under the dash.
Under the hood everything is there up to the pass side headlight. there will be a plug that is capped off. You will need to find the harness that connects to that plug that goes across the rad. support and connects to the relays, compressor, and sensor on the condensor. I was lucky and got a harness that came with the relays.

Re: EG A/C wiring?
This is what I see behind my dash.
I even went as far as yanking out the climate control. Is this the harness that I will find the unplugged/ blue tape covered connector?
Thank you for the fast replies!!

Re: EG A/C wiring?
the harness with the plug that is taped to it, runs behind ur glove box. it connects what you showed the picture of to the fan blower motor. between the 2 is where the evaporator will be installed for AC and the plug i mentioned will plug into the temp sensor for the evaporator. Here is a pic I got from ebay of the harness from under the dash (1st pic).
The second pic is the harness you need under the hood (#25)
