eg a/c
im a/c clutch wont engage. i have checked the a/c fuses in under the hood and in the cabin they are both good. when i jump the wires i can get both the fan and the clutch to engage but when i pull them back into the relays they dont come on. also when i jump the wires the a/c diode is HOT. the fan im using is a 13in spal push fan. the car is a 93 civic eg with a turbo ls/vtec

Re: eg a/c
sounds like you could have a couple issues. first off do you have a full charge of freon in the system? if so what are your static pressures? if it is empty you need to as some freon so the pressure switches will close. if it is full then check your pressure switches if you have a volt ohm meter check to see if the switches are closed like they are supposed to....you will have continuity thru the switch if you don't have continuity either there is not enough pressure in the system or the switch is bad. now the diode getting hot could be from a bad ground on the compressor or a clutch pulling to many amps. oh your static pressure should be around 50 or 60 psi
