I'm not sure if any of the aftermarket ones you mentioned will fit. But have you looked into an OEM "big brake" or maybe one of the Fastbrake.com kits? Some of those will work under 15" wheels.

alot of our customers at work go for the BB1-4 prelude 280mm rotor conversion. Well priced , effective and will fit behind 15" wheels.

First off, you can't just say you have an "EG". That don't mean **** when it comes to brakes. If you have a civic that comes with 9.5" front discs, then there are a couple options for you.

1. Fast brakes sells kits with 11" rotors, & 4 piston calipers that are made to fit 15" wheels. Their main problem is they come with OEM style 1 piece rotors, and they cost $800.

2. Wilwood has a new 11" rotor kit, that comes with the same 4 piston calipers, but includes 2 piece rotors w/ aluminum hats. It's also made to fit 15" wheels, and it only cost $549 from hotrodsusa.com.

3. you can step up to Integra 10.2" brakes, but then you need to replace your knuckles too.

4. You can step up to Integra type R brakes, but you will need integra knuckles, and have to modify they calipers.

If you have a civic that comes with 10.2" front discs, then your only option is to step up to OEM style 11" type R brakes (requires mods to the calipers ), or purchase the 11" fastbrakes kit for $800 .

Most other kits available won't fit normal 15" wheels. Team Dynamics makes a 15" wheel that fits wilwoods & fastbrakes 12.2" rotor kits, but then you gotta buy new wheels.

Big brake kits suck. If you think about it, what you are essentially doing is slowing down your car. The bigger rotors are more rotating mass, which is mass the calipers have to slow down, as well as your engine has to work harder to turn. Yes you probably will be able to stop better but you are sacrificing power.

You can just as easily upgrade your stock brakes to perform just as well, propbably even better than a big brake kit. Start by getting a rear disc conversion, then get Braided SS brake lines, any performace pads. And the 2 big ones calipers and rotors. When I get my new calipers I will be looking at dual piston calipers. They have better clamping power than single. As far as rotors I'm leaning toward brembo blanks, but I MIGHT get slotted OR cross drilled.

One thing I don't like about slotted or x-drilled rotors, is that they eat your pads much faster than standard rotors. Don't get me wrong, they do have their advantages, but I would rather have my pads last longer.

I hope this helped.

Edit: Plus you won't be spending upwards of $1,000 for a kit with parts you might not want. However it is all personal opinion.
