Eg - Battery/Terminal/Ground Replacement
I have a 93 eg hatch. I'm looking at getting a lightweight battery. I also want to clean up the old crusty battery wiring/terminals and all the engine grounds.
Anyone with recommended sizes, methods?
I saw Autozone sells lengths of battery terminal wire, but i don't think it needs to be THAT long.
Thanks y0!

Make sure its the same guage or thicker. As far as length... ha... the longer the wire the more resistance the electricity has to pass through. I would measure the OEM length and apply it to aftermarket wire.. But i would recommend OEM wiring. I hope im making sense.

Ya, pretty sure most aftermarket lightweight batteries come with new terminals.
Anyone done this recently and know the gage sizes offhand? Also, what might i do about the engine grounds.
Also, the stock wiring running to the pos. terminal is kinda old/rotting/crusty But as most of you know, there's not alot of wire to work with here. Should i just leave enough room to chain the wires together?!?!

Juse get some 0 gauge or 4 gauge wire from a stereo supply place like knuconceptz.com. They also sell terminals but you can just get OEM style ones if you want.
