I have a 92 4door dx with a b16 swap has been chipped. The swap was done a long time ago so I do not think it is the base of my problem. So here is what it is doing: on Friday night I was coming home e from the store and right as I pulled into the driveway the car turns off and I got it to start after a couple minutes. Managed to get it into the garge before it died. At this point I checked the fule pump it was working. It was getting spark on all 4 cyls, cleaned the points on the cap of the rotor. And went to bed next day after work I changed the fuel filter and main relay and it started and ran fine on Sunday and Monday now this morning it died on the way to work after running for about 30 of my 35 mile trip any ideas? My only thoughts are maybe my gas lines have frozen so I am going to try some heet later, it still turns over like crazy, and I'm not getting a cel just the batt and oil light when it died and the batt light when I tried starting it. Any ideas would be very helpfull. Thanks.

Test the igniter unit inside the distributor. May as well also test the coil while you're at it.

starter could be getting heat soaked.

my 2004 cbr 600 was doing that.. and it came back to the starter..

i know its a very farfetched idea but its a possibility..

but def check dizzy, or just rebuild it.. not that expensive.. napa ftw
