EG 1.5 daily runner project with a bit of Grrr!
Ive just bought an EG civic for getting me to uni and back, its the D15B2 engine. I am in 2 minds as to what to do to the car with spare parts lying around.
Option A - Use a spare ported d16 inlet manifold on the d15, chop the runners and do a homebrew ITB project. The d15 i believe would need to be converted to multi point fuel injection and I have a spare SAFC lying around to tune it a little.
Option B - Drop in a B18 or B20, does anyone have a link to a write up on this? I believe its a fairly common swap.
I need to keep the project cheap and fairly simple as it is my daily runner. I already have another 3 projects on the go and this will be a forth so dont want to bite off more than I can chew, but I cant drive anything thats stock

drop a b18 or b20..it is easy simple swap..but u have to get all the parts ready...axles..ecu...harness..shift linkage.mounts.etc
have u ever done the swap before?it is pretty easy and straight forward.it is time consuming if u plan to do this by yourself at your home garage with hand tools..it took me 17 hours in 2 days to complete my b16a swap with hand tools in my garage with a help from a buddy of mine.
