You could just pick up an ecu and set of keys from a scrap yard and save yourself some work.

On the p28 ECU the immobilizer is labeled "IMMO-A0".

I want to remove it altogether.
Here in Norway, these cars are worth next to nothing. ( I have 2 now and could easily flip more..)
There is no "Red Key" available so from what I understand there is no possibility of making a new key for it.
I have an ECU and set of keys from a car I'm scrapping in the garage.. but if I go this route I have to replace the steering column as well as all the door and hatch locks... all for what?? to keep a theft deterrent I don't want or need...?
