edelbrock performer x kit

Default edelbrock performer x kit

im not sure if this is a dum question, but i dont know too much about turbocharging...and my question is this....with the edelbrock kit...it says its wastegated to 6-7psi...does that mean i cant run 10psi of boost with the setup...please help me out here

It's made to run out of the box at 6-7psi. Yes you can turn up the boost, but you will have to get the motor tuned afterwards.

The Fuel and Timing maps on the Edelbrock piggy back computer are designed for 6-7 PSI of boost. They also use the stock cat to keep the boost down. I wouldnt turn up the boost. If you want to turn up the boost i would look in to their open track kits.

That Edelbrock kit is exactly the same as the one Garrett offers.. Except its more expensive. Look at the part lists
