Default ECU swap???

What would the results be if i put and Si ECU with my D16y7 engine?

waste of money.. and if your car is a 97 then the ecu will NOT plug in, so it makes it an even more waste of money

the si ecu your reffering to is iether from a 99-00 civic si witch is odb2.5 or from a 92 to 95 , witch is obd1, you could get the conversion harness, from skunk2 or memeber kenjji ( it hink i spelt that right) and make the obd1 ecu work, but i really doubt it would be worth your time unless you have done some upgrades,a dn even then at that point i would sugest a chip that would remap your fuel spark ect...

It would make it run worse since it'll show a code for no vtec. Thought of that too. Save your cash and chip the stock one.
