Default ECU for sir2

ha i have a fredn that needs a ecu.... he has a sir2 full swap in his hb.... he was runing a p72, can a p28 be chiped for that engien and if so and on close to everett wa willing to chip it.

A P72(GSR) is not the right ECU obvously.
He'd want a P30 or yes you can chip a P28 with the P30 maps.
Sorry I'm in chicago or I'd help yah out.

Personally unless he's god a ton of mods, I'd suggest him picking up a P30 for that wonderful factory driving feeling. You'd have to run a wire for the knock sensor though.

there's a couple of p30's in the classified section. I just got mine for $105 shipped.
