Default ECU and sensor grounding points?

Just curious if anyone knows where the major grounding points are for the ECU and sensors.

the ecu is the ground. most sensors are computer controlled grounds.

some of the 5v sensors are grounded on the thermostat housing. other grounds can be found in the dead end plugs on the newer cars, which trace back to chassis grounds inside the vehicle on the left or right side A-pillars or the ecu.

yes, the wires come from the ecu, and the dead end plugs. then to chassis ground if i remember correctly.
