ecu search
i want to find a type r ecu for my 00 si, someone told me in another forum that it wouldnt work but i have a friend who is a tech at honda and he has the same exact car with a type r ecu cams springs and valves his works fine. is this true or am i maybe not getting something and also were can i find one.

It will work depending on the path you go. Your car is OBD2B and the only ITR ecus that are OBD2 are from 00-01. However, these ecus are the immobilizer that needs to be removed in order to work. Another path would be getting an OBD2B to OBD2A jumper harness and run an OBD2A ITR ecu from 97-98.

would it be easier just to get a greddy emanage or a hondata, if so would i need to get the s200 or s300
