ecu question about socketing
what IC socket do i need to socket my 5 speed p28 ecu (22 or 28 pins)? also if i jsut want to socket and chip my 5 speed p28 ecu do i need to get a different resistor?

you need 2 .1uf capasitors one 1k resistor one 28 pin socket and a 74hc373 ic. you can get it all at radio shack

1-1.2k resistor at r54
and then connect j1 with just a spare piece of wire, cutting this later returns ecu to stock prog

correct i'm going to do it next week. Learn it from http://www.nitroburn.com/pgmfiwiki/ and http://www.ecucontrol.com/ also downloaded the bin files for obd1. So i'm ready
