ecu question.....
i heard that if you run a b16 ecu in a gsr it would run but really shitty. so if u was to run a b16 ecu with lsvtec with a gsr head and b16 dist. wouldn't run but run really shitty??

i used a P72 (GS-R) ecu on my B16 and it ran great even had more top end.....the P30 and P72 are roughly the same thing just different maps/VTEC engagment....either ecu will work fine for LS/VTEC

The P72 carries the capabilities to operate the secondary butterflies in the GSR intake manifold while the P30 does not. The fuel maps are indeed different as well as VTEC engagement point. The reason why the P30 doesn't run the GSR well is that it can't open the secondary butterflies.
