Default ecu question

I have a 2000 civic lx with a d16y7. I did a 5 speed conversion, and now i need an ecu..my bro got me a 2000 integra ls eu.. will the p75 work with no cel? I cant seem to find a 99-00 lx ecu anywhere lol. Thanks everyone

a DX ECU will work also AFAIK those are easy to come by. P2E

lol no, your brother's ecu will not work at all. Completely and totally different motors.

Beyond the fact that the programming is totally wrong as stated above, A 2000-01 Integra ECU has an immobilizer circuit, so it will NOT start your car.

LX/DX ECU's are the same part number: 37820-P2E-AXX... the "XX" being the program version number falling between "00" and "22" for a manual transmission.

Ahhh ok sweet...so another question, im still running the auto ecu. The only thing that changed was the tranny, so technically that ecu will still work just fine, minus the tranny hook ups right?

Well im using it now, and the car runs..CEL is on of course, but the only thing not hooked up is the tranny plugs. I have to find a p2e ecu, and do the 2 wire iacv.

a p2e ecu will look for a 3 wire iacv.

Yea, but since its only looking for tranny stuff so theorically, the car should run fine?
