Which ECU for my DOHC ZC swap?
wondering if i should keep the stock ECU from my '94 hatch when i swap my ZC or get a pg7 to put in it. the car is an automatic so i don't know if the higher reving would even matter.

not tryin to flame you,but why would you put zc in a 94?for the money you spend on the zc,i would put new pistons on the block, and built the head.you would probably be putting dow 140whp.

ZC is not a bad motor!! so shut it!!!
If its a 94 you need to run an OBD1 P06 with a chip to raise the rev limiter.....
I have DOHC ZC in my 92 EG.....I'm running a p06 chipped with 7500 revlmiter....with a base map of a p29 (DOHC ZC OEN ECU) and I run great......when I had my p06 with a fukked up chip, I dyno'd 123whp/106lbs......this is with i/h/e......some tuning etc I should be near 130whp/112lbs....

it's not a bad motor for an ef i just dont think they are worth it in a 92-95,unless ofcourse you had the d15 non vtec...

damn where were you when I needed one!! hahahahaha
p29 is good, but from what I heard you can tune it alot and get better results.....
Thats why I went with the p06 with chip.....
