is it the ecu or the motor
was just wonderin if my ecu is having probs or is my motor just tired. when i got the car the guy said he thought the motor had about 90,000 miles on it and ive put about 10,000 miles on it to this day
gsr stock internals only bolt ons got it last aug 07
ecu is chiped with chrome i believe
so when i got the car. well 2 days later i took it out with a friend the morning of my wedding and did 140 to 145mph in it pritty easy. but that was top speed.
about 2 months ago i noticed i could only do 120mph. and thats at the end of 4th gear when i go into 5th its like it doesnt want to to any more it dont bog down or anything. and i have no rev limiter.
now i have sprayed 1 and a half 10 pound bottles of 55 shot nitous and the other half was a 75 shot. is my motor just tired or do i need to look into the ecu? if anyone wans to come look just let me know i need help befor i buy a new motoron what my next step is

with proper fuel tuning for the No2 you should be ok.
without tuning you likely have engine problems.
it could also be that your ECU is seeing cooler or hotter air and changing the trims, which will limit power if wrong.
There are far to many things that could be the problem, have you tried a simple tune up?

Maybe your car is trying to save your life by limiting the amount of life-ending 150mph runs.
Seriously though try a compression test, leakdown test, etc. I would not even bother tuning it up until you find out if the engine is even worth dropping a set of fresh plugs in it.
Running bottles of nitrous through an untuned ECU isn't going to make your engine win any high mileage awards.
