okay first off your building a crvtec not an ls vtec since your using a b20 block. and if you want to go to obd1 just use a jumper.

start up without what?? do you even know what OBD stands for?

OBD1 ECU
OBD1 engine harness
OBD1 conversion harness

and no, you cannot start an engine without an ECU https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif

not to be a complete dick but you're putting a frankenstein motor in a car and your unsure if your car will start without an ECU? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gifhttps://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gifhttps://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif

If its not built use the GSR ecu. If its built convert to obd1 with a jumper harness and use a tuneable ecu.
