Default ECU ground

Does anyone know where is the best place to ground the vtec pressure switch? and does the ecu get automatically get grounded when it is bolted on the passenger side wall?

if you are doing a swap, on the ones i do, i ground it to the little phillips head screw on the bracket on the spool valve housing. but any metal point on the engine is usually fine. the clip that holds the connector for the spool valve is held down by a phillipshead screw. thats usually where i ground it.

spool valve housing?.....ground on the engine or the chasis?...isnt it the same ground?

No, it's main ground is usually located on the t-stat housing.

t stat. short for thermostat housing. the ecu needs a ground in the harness. it is the 10mm bolt on the thermostat housing. but if you put the other wire to the spool valve (or vtec solenoid) you will be ok.

thnx guys , it worked on the thermostat housing ground area. btw its also a good idea just to mention if anyone is curious to reset the ecu also, and disconnect the ground of the battery...
