Default ECU Code

My CEL is throwin a LONG LONG LONG LONG SHORT SHORT, which is 42, but i dont see anything that says what a code 42 is.

which ECU?
are you sure there isn't a longer pause in between some of the digits that would indicate two codes?

actually, i went back to check the code and it could just be one short light up. i cant really tell for sure. but it is either 41, or 42

replace it, clean it, maybe wires might be messed up.. check to see if the wiring is damaged anywhere, then clean it.. I heard you can clean them, not to sure. Or go ahead and buy a new one, get it used way cheaper. I use to get the same code, i just unplugged it for awhile then plugged it back in and I didnt get the cel no more, weird but it worked.
