ECU Chipping Question. 20 Pin Socket.....
OK, so I was going to chip my ECU today, and my 20 pin socket somehow got broken. I would like to pick one up tomorrow, but I am not sure if I have to use this exact model or not. I received a Texas Instruments 20 Pin, model # 74hc373n. Using Google I have been able to find them, but I cannot find that exact part number at Radio Shack or Fry's. Does anyone know of another brand/model that is sufficiant to use instead? TIA

Radio Shack sells the HC373 latching chips. You don't need a socket for it but you can also get the same size socket at Radio Shack for $1.
