is it worth getting it reprogrammed.. our check engine light keeps coming on. we reset the ecu twice and it still comes on after a few trips.. honda said its because of the aftermarket cat.. its a 98 DX with a EX Header ,Cat, Mid&rear section... i dont like having the light on.. can anyone help... much appreciated... The 2nd O2 was after the cat on our stock manifold but now its before the cat...

The second O2 needs to read after cat gasses. I assume you are getting a P0420- catalyst deterioration code? The second O2 sensor on civics is mounted in the rear of the cat. I take it that your 2nd O2 is just before the end of the A-pipe. Where is the first O2?

The 2nd O2 is located in the cat but before the gases go through it .. will this affect any thing? why they made the hole there i dont know.. the first O2 is in the header ... i hate check engine light. ill find out what code its throwing today

You need to relocate that second O2 behind (after) the cat.

will anything happen if i dont relocate it after the cat or will the light just be on..i mean nothing can be damaged right
