Ive heard alot about p28 ecu's. I understand there from a sohc vtec car (si hatch, ex coupe) and you can chip them and run it with a b16a2 swap. but can someone explain to me the positives in using this ecu, ive never heard a good explanation, just to do it. Thanks alot.

OBDI
no knock sensor
can be chipped or converted to Hondata.
Chipping is not recommended unless you are running a 13:1 compression B series with stupidly aggressive sticks.

"Chipping" is a misunderstood and misused term. You would need to install an external ROM in the P28 programmed with P30 code to run the B16 properly.
