okay so i swapped my little single cam yesterday lol & put in a b18b1 that ls hauls *** but theres one problem it has a problem the battery drains really bad & the car wants to shut off now that was happening with the zc i had as well why is this happening to my b18 what could cause my car to drain the battery so fast? because my battery just drains and the car doesnt wanna drive well also my exhaust sounds bad because it is meant for a d series

does it drain while driving? if so it could be your alternator.

yes while driving the battery like goes dead i was thinking maybe a alternator fuse or a ground wire to the battery? or some wires touching?

check the fuse, i doubt it is a ground. i honestly think its your alternator.

It sounds like your alternator is going bad. There could be something in the car draining the battery as well but that wouldn't happen while driving. Check and clean all grounds and battery terminals just to be sure.

im having a VERY Similar problem, only w/ my stock motor and trans in my ek 4dr. i use to have jumpy gauge lights when i turned my blinkers on and stuff like that. i changed my alt and now everything stays the same brightness when blinkers are on, but my battery also drained while driving it.... still

Are you throwwing any cel's?
ELD perhaps?
Alternator/vss fuse?

Its more than likely not the alternator(s)
Its not really that likely that both the engines had bad alternators.
Check fuses,grounds, and ELD its usually the small things one overlooks.(i hope so, its def cheaper)

Use a load detector, see what the charge is with your alternator. Many high end battery chargers have this feature too
