Default ecm help

i think that i read on here that there is a mod that you can do to change a auto ecm to a manual ecm. any help would be great thanks! i have searched

thanks for the correction, i found more results under ecm as opposed to ecu. can any one offer any help other than spelling corrections? thanks!

you could just buy the proper ecu.

seems like that would be a lot easier than reworking the circuitry.

then sell your auto ecu on ebay.

i have a p2p they are a dime a dozen i need the p2j they are kinda hard to find even harder if you have a stick. thanks!

OBD1 - remove RP17 & RP18, jumper across RP18.
OBD2 - nope

i already have a p2p for a five speed i need the p2j for my engine. there is a slight price and availability difference between the auto and stick.
