ebay or password jdm?
my friend bought so eg jdm fog lights for his hatch. the cost him around $100.00
i was looking through ebay an some of the same fog lights for half the price, and some came with fake typer R shift bad, short shifter, shift ****. others came with other clear jdm corners of amber corners. The ebay fog lights look completely the same as teh password jdm ones. i am going to buy some fogs soon. can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the two fog lights. is there anything bad about the one on ebay?

Well, the 400 dollar ones or whatever are stanley, which are obviously you're best fogs... but for your money, probably not worth it in my opinion. I mean sure, they are brand name, but sometimes we pay extra for the brand. Also, my friend has the stanley fogs (he got them from another buddy for 25 bucks since he got a lexus and didn't need them) and those are more yellow (brighter) but honestly, not completely way noticeably better. ebay is not as worthless as people make it out to be, as ebay does sell good quality stuff, and also poor quality. PWJDM's fog lights are depos and have been suggested as poor. I know there is atleast one other thread on this that was covered, so try searching for it. But if you get the ebay fogs, just know that you might get good ones, and you might get poor ones. Pay a decent price and you'll be fine!

this is what you do...
get the USDM OEM raybrig fogs for $132 shipped (thats how much i paid)
http://www.handaaccessories.com/civext00.html
then get the yellow lamin-x foglight film (precut) or get a sheet of yellow and DIY from them
http://lamin-x.com/ecommerce/o...663ba
OEM fitment and quality with the "JDM" look (roughly $150 total compared to the $400 OEM raybrigs yellow fogs)... and if you dont like the film... you can jus take it off and go clear fogs with yellow bulbs.

password jdm sells depo which is not a ebay name its foglight company, they are ok, i have them and i am happy with them, but i see condensation and i have a feeling they might give me trouble in the future, but for now it is good. the fitment is perfect, for the 96-98 and they were 70 bucks on ebay, and i called depo to match the serial #s to make sure it was real.

lol... thats what i did as well, thats why i posted it... it was a bitch to place the film on the fogs perfectly... but i was happy with the ending results... though the film was a lil smaller in diameter than the fogs itself, but the bezels cover up the edges exposed. and when people go up to the fogs and see "Raybrig" on the lens... they go LOL
if i were to go it again... i'd get retangular sheet and cut off the extra on the edges of the fogs instead of getting the precut sheets for the fogs.

Re: (steverson)
I dont buy anything from password... period. Too overpriced. Put it like this, they're dress up washer/10mm bolt kits...$16.99 for 4!!!!
On our local board we have a vendor selling a kit of 20 with your choice of color for only $20.
Plus I have gotten dicked in the past with my jdm side mouldings... never went back.

Re: (Thateguhate)
I got mine from ixtabimports on ebay as a kit with amber corner...they work alright and the corners are great...BUT!!!!, the wiring harness they sent me was junk!!!! It only worked when you held "jdm" switch in...the relay was very low budget crap! I had to make my own harness with my own switch until I get around to buying the harness from password. So I wouldnt buy it from them... but ebay is alright if your budget is tight cause the overall look is very close.

I've had my depo fogs on my 99 hatch for almost 3 years now with not one problem at all. Installation was a breeze and came with all neccessary relays, switches, even split loom, screws, zip ties...and everything else you'll need for a perfect install.
I've installed the fogs on a few of my buddies cars with the same result. I have not ONE complaint with Depos' fogs, and I've had install experience with at least 3 different sets. All were just as simple as the next.
