ebay mufflers
i am thinking about buying a ebay muffler and having a shop weld it on 2.5 back. are these good mufflers or do they only make a whole lot of noise?

i have an ebay muffler, 50$ shipped. it sounds good to me. with the dx motor it got raspy around 4k but now with my new motor it sounds good. nice crisp loud sound. my friend has an N1 on his LS/vtec hatch and they sound basically the same, except he paid 500 and i paid 250.

i don't have exhaust any more i like it really loud and i love the smell of raw fuel i don't see anything wrong with buying an Ebay exhaust instead of spending the whole hell of a lot of money that big names want for their stuff buy a knockoff come on you guys know about knockoff stuff and some of the quality you get for 1/4 the price does the name ROTA ring a bell?????

I would say you can find a certain ebay muffler that will provide good sound,
just be careful about the dimensions of the thing, get the smallest tip you can,
and get the longest and widest muffler you can.
if going n/a then i'd say go with 2.25" inlet
and make sure you have a good resonator in your exhaust system, or its going to sound loud and raspy as hell

Seriously. As of late I think this is one of the best exhausts for the money. I got mine and I love it. Noticed the power gains too.

damm dude u want more noise i want less on mine. I would go with spoon kinda pricey but u know its quality. Also if u get a custom piping try to get it with less bends so the gases will go straight through for more gains. Ive used obx and it did the trick nice deep loud not raspy and quite with the silencer.
