Default Easy Civic CV boot replacment?

I have a 95 Honda Civic with a torn CV boot I want to replace. Is there an easier way to replace the book than what is discribed in the Haynes manual (pulling off most of the suspension and stearing)? I do not want to use a split boot.

Any help is appreciated.

you can use a sawzall or torch to cut the axle in half.

You're still going to need to remove the axle to to work on it regardless. It might be safe to just replace the whole axle if you don't know how long the boot's been ripped. To replace the boot, cut off the torn boot, pop out the other cv. regrease, put in new boot, pop the outer cv back in, and clamp down your boot, and reinstall everything else.

I posted a topic asking the same and was answered. Just search
