easy air/fuel ration question (for some)...
just a quick question...
i know the ideal a/f ratio is 14.7:1...so...
if you run an n/a car, for example, and at WOT, your a/f ratio is 14.5:1, you are running rich right? is this beneficial to the engine? will it just exit the head as unburnt fuel and waste gas? or will it be burned and make power? thanks!

Under WOT operation a richer mixture would probably work better for max power. 13:1 to 13.5:1 would be a good starting point.
