i dont know what to think of this problem other than it being my computer. the problem i have is that i hit a rev limiter at about 8200 or 8300 and should be able to go much higher if i wanted. i only want to go to 9000 or so but im not able to.

when i first got the computer in i was able to go to 9000 but 2 days later it started doing this

i get an intermitant CEL and checked it and it came out as a malfunctioning oxygen sensor heater circuit. i dont think it would affect anything important. if you guys have any advice on stuff to check or things to look for it would be great.

my setup is a stock b18c5 engine with:
jdm header
aem short ram intake
p28 with a mugen chipped program

I read somewhere that you dont make anymore power from the 8200 to the 9000 rpm range. I think it was superstreet but im not sure. Isnt the stock rev limiter 8200??? so why do u want to rev past that??? my .02 so dont flame

that's not going to be the case for ALL vehicles... it depends on what is done for the car

i thought stock rev limiter for a usdm b18c5 was 8400

yeah the stock rev limit is 8400 from what i remember and i cant even get there. pisses me off. anyone else got anything to say maybe help me out
