eagle rods and srp pistons for d series problem

Default eagle rods and srp pistons for d series problem

does any have this setup? or similar? when they installed the rods, they seem to rub against the sleeves. they said I have to get the rods grinded down. but why would they sell eagle rods for d series, if i have to end up grinding down?

Grind around the bottom of the sleeve so there is clearance if there is rubbage. Don't grind on the rod. Did they tell you up front you where going to have to modify things to run those rods? Are they the correct rods to be using?

the shop said they'd never seen this happen before, now i have to send the block back to the machine shop and charge me anoterh couple hundred to notch the block, this is the most expensive d16 ever....

SRP's that was my first setup (eagle rods/srp pistons) and i hated it.

Why are SRP's bad, give reasons please.
