Default eagle and crowler parts should I use ?

I almost have enough for my B16 and trans. I've been doing some research on parts and this is what i wanted to do

Crowler Stage 2 cams when for when I turbo, still undecided on valves & springs
Eagle makes a couple nice stroker cranks with various compressions
I was thinking of going with the 1.8L kit and running anywhere from an 8.2 to 8.9 for the compression depending on the turbo size.

http://www.crower.com/cat/impo...shtml

for cams, springs, cam gears and valves

http://www.importperformancepa....html

is a site that has the list of different set ups. for cranks

Bad Idea or ? I'd rather spend the money once and bomb proof my motor while i can.

How much whp are you looking to achieve with w/e setup you go with? For the money I would much rather already purchase a 1.8L ie B181b (LS) and build that. 1300+ for a crank/rod/piston combo is a little steep. You could pick up a B18b1, send the crank out to Benson (www. laskeyracing.com), purchase an Eagle/CP rod/piston combo and be under that dollar amount easy. And the crank will be micropolished/balanced to 10k rpms no problem. You wouldnt even want to touch the head if you are staying under or around 400whp. The LS trans will be a nice trans for boosted applications also. Just my $.02

my goal is at least 400 hp, I don't mind saving the money to use quallty parts going to the B18 won't give me a bombproof bottom end. I can get the extra displacement and reduce my compression allowing for more boost. I was hoping to use a 60 or 57 trim GT-k turbo.

i have an integra with the stage 2 crower turbo cams... one thing is if you want those cams you WILL have to get better valves and springs... i have the crower dual valve springs to help prevent float with the crower titanium retainers for dual valve springs and jg valves... and if you are going to go with those cams, and upgrading the vavle train to support those cams be prepared for a loud valve train...

Yeah If I go crowler for the cams I was thinking of just getting the valve train kit that matches the set up. Why build half *** you know ? How do you like the performace of em ?
