Default E-Brake

ok, people is it just my car or do your e-brakes suck in your car too? i have to pull it up alllllll the way just to get it to work.. just curious. any ideas?

You might need new brakes in the rear or you might need to adjust them.

How long have you owned the car ? Did the slack come on slowly over time.....would be normal. Check rear shoes ? Self adjusting rear brake wheel is a little tricky if you don't undertand it etc. You adjust the hand brake lever by removing the console.

Take the e-brake cover off or armrest and adjust it. I only have to pull mine up a few inches and its fine.

you can tighten up a little screw right behind your e brake. you need to take off the plastic that covers it. its only 2 screws to undo it so u can get access to the back of the ebrake handle...
