Dyno time, HELP PLEASE.
Ok, in a few days im going to a local dyno to get my high comp d16a6z6 g tested.
any tips lik what gear should i do it in ?
and i get 2 passes for 50$ is that agood deal or no ??
and last do i haveto go to rev limiter or no ??
and anything i should ask for or look for ? thanks any tips welcome.

depending on where you go, they will be the one running your car, not you. there are some places that will let you do it yourself though.
for the what gear, i'd say 3rd, that's generally a long, but not too long and a good gear to pull in.
2 passes for 50 is a great deal, i live in texas and down here they're almost 100 a pass.
no you don't have to go to your rev limiter, you can just go till you hit the redline on your tach.
and for my curiosity what all do you have done to the car/motor, and is it a z6 or an a6, or is it the block and head combination? and let me know the numbers you put down, i have a z6 and would like to know around where i would be sitting

and i have a d16a6 block with zc pistons, an a 2 layer high comp head gasket skunk2 IM, and d16z6 head, bisimoto internals for had, and portednd polsihed and should be in 140-150ISH on no tune then with tune we will c.

dont dyno it if your not tuned. thats just dumb. limp the car. get it tuned and then dyno for power.
