DX Wiring Harness on a B18B Swap
Hello,
I just got my B18B into my '96 Civic DX. I am using the stock DX (D16Y7) wiring harness on the new motor but am having some troubles figuring out how to get all of the connectors to their designated locations.
I can get all of the transmission connectors connected but am having troubles with the bulk of the harness. I can either get the bulk of it over the intake manifold, in which case I can get the injectors in the correct order as well as the throttle position sensor but I can't get to the alternator or the IACV sensor.
Or... I can take the bulk of the harness under the intake manifold in which case I can get to the alternator and the IACV sensor but I can't get the injectors in the correct order nor can I get to the throttle position sensor.
So, what is the best way to go about this? It doesn't seem like other people who have done this swap extended a bunch of wires other than the O2 sensors. Do I need to extend the wires on a bunch of other sensors? Is there something obvious that I am missing?
Thank you,
Dylan
P.S. (I already did the IACV sensor fix)

hmmm, i really think your wrapping it wrong. start with the injectors, plug them in, then the harness should go to the right then under the IM and then everything should plug right in. if the injectors are in the wrong order at that point then i guess you gotta do it to the alternators favor and extand some wires. At least some of your wires will be tucked now=].
