DX and VTEC
Hey everybody I was wondering if I put a 96-00 EX head on a 97 Civic DX. Changed the CAMs and put in an APEXi VFAC or a stock EX computer would VTEC work on it? Is there another way of doing this? Or does it just have to be a complete motor swap.

Yes, it's possible. I heard it referred to as a Mini-Me swap, hehehe. Sort of like a really poor man's LS/VTEC

I don't see why you wouldn't just put in an EX engine, though, since it wouldn't be expensive at all.
