dx help is it my turbo????
hey guys i am new here so bare w me lol i have a 96 civic dx that i blew teh motor in i got a 97 1.6 non vtec to put in there i also added a tdo5 turbo i have the motor in the car the turbo is in but none of the intercooler pipes are in so basicly it is just a turbo on a manafold w a downpipe the oil adn cooler lines are hooked up dont worry lol anywho when the car idles it lobes really bad sounds liek it is hittin about 1700 rpm then drops to about 1200 rpm back and forth when you give it some gas it runs perfectly fine it is only at idle that it has teh problem check engine light says o2 sensor but since i had teh car it had a bad o2 so i knwo that is not causing the problem when i discponect the map sensor it seems to have a nice steady idle but when you give it gas it is definitly missing... can anyone help me on this i would apreciate it thanx jason

are u using an FMU of any kind? also u may need a missing link im not sure, and i dont know if ur car looks for one or two o2 sensors but start with that. an aftermarket bigger fuel pump also .

Do it right use periods....
On a more serious note, its probably gonna run better if you hook the ic pipes up and some sort of fuel managment (do an fmu I dont care)
Hmmmmm a turbo ploped in the middle of what appears to be an na cars exhaust and a disconected map sensor. Are you trying to get it to run right? Convert it back to stock and get it to run right and then think about putting your turbo stuff on.

that is why i havent hooked up the intercooler pipes yet cause im trying to get it to run right, i heard the motor run at teh yard so i know it was good it was just easier to hook up all the oil adn water lines w the motor out then after i put it in. my next step is to put the headers i had back on there but i know it is something stupid thanx for the help so far guys
