DVD Player + security system
I have a 97 honda civic ex coupe....I have a dvd player i just purchased and i placed it at the bottom din and once i took the main socket thinggy out to attach the dvd player to it the keyless entry and the whole security system stopped working....can someone explain how i can keep both options please please please with a cherry ontop

first... thats great!
now buy a real alarm...and do a stealth install!!!! if you don't know what a stealth install is...

also this has been discussed over and over again... its how those civics are wired... search for it: https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch
the oem alarm systems are crap, and don't do anything... and are easily bypassed... make sure you take the faceplate with you when you park the car...
