Default dust shield on rotors rattling

Anytime im turning my wheel it sounds like im draging around a bunch of coffee cans. It seems to be the dust shield behind my front rotors, anybody have any ideas how to get rid of this?

you sure about that? You might wanna check your cv boot to see if its ripped first off, and you could be in the market for new cv axles. I just got mine done and it cost $246 everything included (parts and labor) for both driver and passenger side. Problem is gone though

If the "dust shield" is the case, you can just take it out.

if its a cv joints it will make a clicking noise. So just remove that dust shield and you will be fine. I removed mine about 2 years ago now, i cut mine off with a dremel tool just so i didnt have to take everything apart.

Agreed, dust shield is not needed. If you're worried then just bend it back by hand, its not hard or strong metal at all.
